As a Filipino native, Bernadette Hisoler is a star member of her team, a hard worker, and an extremely warm and friendly person. As a Print & Assembly Team Leader at Imprint Plus, Bernadette plays a key role in the Production Department. Aside from demonstrating an impressive work ethic on the production floor, she is a friendly face who’s always smiling and uplifting others. Her educational background comes from the University of Baguio in the Philippines where she graduated with a 2-year Secretary Program Degree.

Born and raised in the Philippines where she spent most of her childhood, Bernadette is proud of her humble beginnings. Christian by faith, she cherishes her beliefs and holds them close to her heart. Bernadette is a full-time mother and part-time YouTube content creator, a unique combination of skills and interests that make her life quite vibrant and interesting

What is the first thing on your mind every morning?

In the morning, the first thing that comes to my mind is that I am alive, and I am healthy.

Describe your work at Imprint Plus in one sentence or phrases

Over the past 16 years at Imprint Plus, I have worked in various capacities within the production department. Currently, I am working as the Team Lead. It is my responsibility to ensure all orders are produced accurately in quantity and quality. I am experienced in all aspects of the production process and am happy to help when needed.

What/who inspires you?

 

Where do you see Imprint Plus in 5 years?

I see Imprint Plus embracing technology every step of the way. A more technologically driven production process can help us enhance our productivity and scale at a rapid pace. Being a part of that transformation would be an incredible experience for me.

Tell us one thing we do not know about you.

,p>You probably don't know this about me, but I came to Canada in May 1990 as a live-in caregiver. Over the years, I have lived in Vancouver and Winnipeg. Aside from being married to a wonderful man, I am also the proud mother of three beautiful children.

What is your favorite TV show?

In terms of TV shows, Gilmore Girls and Wednesday are two of my favorites. My whole family enjoys watching these shows together.

What is your go-to productivity trick?

My go-to productivity trick is to inspire and motivate myself and others to never doubt themselves, no matter what obstacles they face.

What behavior or personality trait do you most attribute to your success, and why?

From my perspective, the most important behavior or personality trait I attribute to reaching my goals and achievements is my hard work and determination. When it comes to my professional goals, I never lose sight of what is most important to me and my team.

What was your first job?

My first job was an interesting experience and a deeply personal one for me. I started selling organic produce from our family farm back in the Philippines. It taught me the value of hard work and perseverance.

What would we find you doing on the weekend?

Creating videos for my YouTube channel is my passion. The content focuses primarily on travel stories, food, cooking, and vlogging. As I travel, I enjoy vlogging my experiences and trips so that I can display new places and captivating locations.

What is one thing that surprised you about working at Imprint Plus?

A surprising quality of the Imprint Plus team is how well everyone has evolved and responded to the unpredictable changes within the industry. Together, we have been able to keep up with the trends and grow, while still being a leader in the industry.
